The Challenge
Jabacus, a web-based platform with 50+ structural engineering calculators, had the power and functionality, but their website didn’t reflect the credibility or clarity of the product itself. Its outdated and clunky user experience was difficult to navigate and the lack of design left a lot to be desired. With expansion on the horizon and a strong reputation among Canadian engineers, they needed a site that felt as trustworthy and efficient as their tools.
The Outcome
KHULA delivered an ultra-streamlined website refresh. We wireframed a cleaner UX that brought the user to the right pages without confusion. We wrote messaging for clarity and authority, with a laser-focus on the problem they solve. Finally, we designed a precise new UI to align with Jabacus’s current brand. While the client handled internal development, we provided the framework and content to help their platform show up as reliable and ready for any Canadian Structural Engineer to get to work.
