The Challenge

Trimble Productions’ Founder and CEO, Toby Trimble, had a dilemma. His production company was creating content — videography, cinematography, and photography — across multiple sectors from craft breweries to downhill mountain biking. It was seen as a video production company rather than an animal health communications brand. 

As a highly skilled veterinary specialist, Toby’s area of expertise is in animal health education. So he pivoted to focus entirely on the animal health industry, helping veterinary thought leaders and pharmaceutical companies produce high-quality educational content. At the same time, what he needed was a new brand to house his suite of related sub-brands, and better engage his target audience. Having worked with us on previous projects, Toby reached out to Jamie and the Khula Design Studio team.

The Outcome

Revenue Growth 335%

In our naming workshop, we landed on ‘Trimble Group’ moving away from ‘productions’ to align with their broader communications offering. After extensive research, it became clear that the existing brand identity and online presence didn’t speak to the animal health industry. It also lacked relevant and engaging imagery, and there was no consistency across social channels. The dark grey and orange colour palette made it difficult to read, and the messaging was a little off for their target audience. 

Khula helped Trimble rebrand with a new company name, a relevant colour palette, and a vibrant and engaging website aligned with their value proposition and buyer personas. Now, across every touchpoint, the Trimble Group brand has consistency and a professional look and feel that appeals to their target personas.
